STEMVillage STEM Leadership Summer Camp

Join us for a week of hands-on STEM exploration, leadership development, and fun! Our camp is designed for rising 3rd–6th graders and will run during two exciting sessions:

Session 1 (July 7th–11th, 2025): Explore the world of simple machines and rockets through exciting projects like building catapults, designing bottle rockets, and tackling group STEM pitches. Campers will develop leadership skills through interactive presentations and public speaking activities.

Session 2 (July 28th–August 1st, 2025): Unleash your creativity with problem-solving adventures, including egg drops, bridge-building competitions, and teamwork challenges. This session emphasizes teamwork and leadership through fun group challenges and opportunities to present their innovative designs.

Pickup & Drop-off

Location: The camp will take place at: Covenant Church, 4550 Centennial Ln, Ellicott City, MD 21042

Drop-Off Instructions (8:20 AM - 9:00 AM):

• Park in the available parking lot.

• Bring your camper into the front doors of the building.

• Signs and staff members will be present to assist with drop-off and escort campers to the classrooms.

Pick-Up Instructions (3:30 PM - 4:00 PM / 5:30 PM):

• At the end of the camp day, follow the same process.

• Signs and staff members will assist with pick-up to ensure a safe and organized dismissal.

Early Dismissal: If your child needs to leave early, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Daily Schedule

Typical Camp Day:

• 8:20–9:00 AM: Drop-off

• 9:00–9:30 AM: Warm-up Activity

• 9:30–10:30 AM: STEM Activity #1

• 10:30–11:00 AM: Snack & Outdoor Activity

• 11:00–12:00 PM: STEM Activity #2

• 12:00–12:30 PM: Lunch

• 12:30–1:30 PM: STEM Activity #3

• 1:30–2:15 PM: Snack & Outdoor Activity

• 2:15–3:30 PM: STEM Activity #4

• 3:30–4:00 PM: Pick-up

• 4:00–5:30 PM: Aftercare (optional for $50)

Cancelation Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your camp registration, please note the following:

• All cancellations for a refund will incur a $30 administrative fee per week of camp registered.

• Cancellations made 2 weeks or more before the camp start date will receive a full refund, minus the $30 fee.

• Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the camp start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

• Early Bird Discount: Register early to take advantage of discounts! See signup page for more info.
